Co-op staff given bodycams to tackle shoplifting

Available for over a year

Lincolnshire Co-operative has begun issuing shop workers with bodycams in an attempt to reduce the number of incidents of shoplifting and abuse in their stores. The chain is spending £200,000 on the devices for staff across its supermarkets and pharmacies. Staff say confrontations are becoming more common, with some being threatened outside the stores.
