Wet Wet Wet's Graeme Clark says the track was 'only' supposed to appear on the soundtrack, and it being in the film itself caught the whole group by surprise. He adds that the band asked record companies to stop making physical copies of the track, when it ended up being the biggest selling song of 1994.
