The former rugby player from Bromsgrove and his family joined Kevin Sinfield in raising money for Motor Neurone Disease. Scott is an MND warrior and was diagnosed with the condition in June 2023, aged 43. He was joined by his friend Martin Lakeman, to join the rugby league legend's latest epic fundraiser, running seven ultra-marathons in seven days. On the Bristol leg of Sinfield's challenge, a mile was reserved for those living with the condition, such as friends and family, to join him in the run. Together, Scott and Martin have raised nearly £100,000 for the MND association, with their friendship mirroring that of Kevin Sinfield and Rob Burrow's. Felicity Kvesic reports.
