Recreating Roald Dahl’s writing hut

Secret Buckinghamshire

Available for over a year

Many of Roald Dahl’s most famous books were created in a small writing shed at the bottom of his Great Missenden home. It was recreated in the Oscar-winning film ‘The Wonderful World of Henry Sugar’ which starred Ralph Fiennes, with help from the Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre in the Buckinghamshire village. Jane Killick hears how they achieved it. (Photo credit: Indian Paintbrush/American Empirical Pictures/NETF)
