'Cats let loose' after Storm Darragh damage

Available for over a year

A Warwickshire cat rescue centre was hit by the branch of a falling tree, with £15,000 raised by the community for it in the days since. Avon Cat Rescue, based at Welford-on-Avon, saw five semi-feral cats disappear when the storm hit and demolished a pen. Rosemary Spicer tells Tammy Gooding why the charity is so grateful for the appeal, which raised £3,000 in its first ten minutes of going live, and will support efforts to rebuild their outdoor pen.
