Teaching children to be smartphone smart

Available for over a year

Many children will be hoping for their first smartphone this Christmas - but what's an appropriate age for them to have one and how do you make sure they only see suitable content? The Lincolnshire Stay Safe Partnership has been visiting schools including Witham St. Hughs Academy and teaching pupils about online safety. It says parents need to have an 'open conversation about the different risks' and likened the lessons to providing a helmet with a new bike.
