Sophie from Poole is 11-years-old and was diagnosed antenatally with a heart defect, and developed Pulmonary Arterial hypertension which affects her lungs. She is waiting to receive a double lung transplant as soon as suitable lungs become available. This is the second Christmas, since being added to the organ transplant list and is among 280 children wishing for that on their present list this year. Mum, Laura, told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Solent's Steve Harris about Sophie's story and how it affects family life as well as highlighting the need for more education and discussion around the subject of organ donation.
