"Forty One Thousand Suns" on Merseyside

Available for over a year

Another year circling the sun comes to an end, and another one begins. And so we have a special poem to mark the New Year, written by local poet Pauline McAdam. Inspired by a wonderful gentleman John Alfred Tinniswood; Scouser born and bred.  Avid footie fan all his long life. And what a life. This year he became the world's oldest man, living 112 years and 91 days.  He passed away peacefully in November after "Forty One Thousand Suns". Photo: Getty.
