A Coventry charity is facing a huge cut in its finances which will axe a vital service to young adults with disabilties in the city. "Grapevine" help people suffering from mental health issues and disabilities but don't get any Government funding. Coventry City council is proposing a 42 percent cut in its funding. The CEO told us "Its wholly inadequate to start with, and its going to be even less" We spoke to people about the difference the charity has made to their lives. In a statement Coventry City council said: "We are currently undergoing a consultation process with our residents on proposed savings across services and we are monitoring all the feedback we receive. No decisions will be made until after the consultation ends on 28 January, so we encourage everyone to have their say.”
