Following an operation to remove a brain tumour, Tom Shaw from Stafford, decided to write a book about his experience. ‘Brain Tumours, John Bonham and Fat Pigeons’ became the title of a book inspired by the people around him in hospital, including a recurring hallucination where he thought there was a shrine to John Bonham next to his bed.
