The University Hospital Southampton are partnering with the Transport Research Laboratory to reduce road deaths. They've been awarded £500,000 in funding by the Department for Transport and the Road Safety Trust to launch a world-first initiative: the Data Sustains Life project. The project aims to reduce road deaths by anonymously linking health data with road safety data. Tamsyn Berry was treated by the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance after a head-on collision with a lorry on the A303 in 2020. She spoke to Radio Solent's Steve Harris about the traumatic episode.
