Council leader fears green energy 'dumping ground'

Available for over a year

The leader of Lincolnshire County Council, Martin Hill says energy companies are 'queuing up' to build solar farms and other green energy projects in the county. Several large solar farms are already planned, many of them on land currently used for agriculture. Speaking on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Lincolnshire's Hot Seat phone-in, Cllr Hill denied the council were against renewables but feared Lincolnshire would become a 'dumping ground' for the projects.
