Blue Plaque for Graham Sutherland

Available for over a year

Hollywood film star Audrey Hepburn and T. Rex frontman Marc Bolan are among those to be recognised with blue plaques in London, English Heritage has announced. Meanwhile the London childhood home of artist Graham Sutherland, who once painted Sir Winston Churchill, will be the location for his plaque as English Heritage said it played a formative role in his artistic development. Graham Sutherland spent 10 years weaving by hand the "Christ in Glory" tapestry for Coventry Cathedral, it's 23 metres tall and 12 metres wide. ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ CWR presenter Vic Minett speaks to Howard Spencer, a historian at English Heritage.
