Nightclubs across the West Midlands and beyond could be extinct by the end of the decade if current trends continue. According to the Night Time Industry Association which claims since 2020 that 150 nightclubs a year have been closing and Birmingham lost 163 firms among cultural, entertainment or food and drink venues and those who supply them between March 2020 and September 2024. If this trend continues then by 2030, there won't be any left.
