His big campaigns locally have been about saving full A&E and maternity services at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester and fighting water companies over sewage discharges in Hampshire streams. Before becoming a politician, Danny Chambers was a vet specialising in the care of horses, dogs and cats.
