Retracing the Long March

Available for over a year

For the 2025 VE day celebrations, two men will be retracing the steps of their father 80 years on. Stuart Green's dad was a navigator pilot in WWII and was shot down over Holland and put in a prisoner of war camp. He then took part in the Long March from Poland to just outside Berlin. Roger Churchill's father was one of the last surviving members of the great escape. On May 8th the two will recreate the Long March on bicycles for charity, they've been speaking to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ CWR presenter Vic Minett.
