Baileigh Sinaman-Daniel: The first one-armed player to score in NCAA basketball

Not by the Playbook

Available for over a year

Baileigh Sinaman-Daniel refused to let rejection from her high school basketball team, or the fact she was born with one arm, end her dream of playing the sport she loves. It was a love which started through a crush on NBA star LeBron James but developed into a passion of her own. Her high school career started off well, but that all changed in her senior year when the coach cut her from the team. Fast forward three years and after sending out her resume to every University coach across America, Baileigh made history scoring her first basket for Lesley University in an NCAA Division III college game. She told Sportshour's Shabnam Younus-Jewell about proving her doubters wrong to make college basketball history.
