Florence Nightingale and William Ogle honoured with blue plaques

Secret Derbyshire

Available for over a year

The pair have been recognised for their pioneering healthcare work in the 19th century. The shiny, new plaques have been placed on the site of the old Derby Infirmary - where they both influenced the design of the hospital to keep it as hygienic and efficient as possible. Our reporter Matt Barlow went down to have a look and find out a bit more. Image credits: Getty / Wavensmere ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½s
