Midlands Today has been the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½â€™s flagship regional news programme in the West Midlands for more than 60 years. When it first aired on Monday 28 September 1964 it was broadcast from a small studio on Broad Street in Birmingham. Making the jump to Pebble Mill provided the early opportunities for future broadcasting legends Nick Owen and Bob Warman. Credit: Getty Images.
