The Titanic squash coach

Secret Northampton

Available for over a year

It is a little known fact there was a squash court on board the RMS Titanic. The man employed as its coach on the doomed ocean liner was Frederick Wright, from Little Billing. He was among the estimated 1,500 to perish on that fateful maiden voyage in April 1912. Joseph Ashmenall explains how Wright’s memory is being preserved in a most appropriate way.
