There’s been an outpouring of rage in Pakistan, after the killing of a teenage social media influencer in her home. Police have arrested a 22 year-old man, who they say confessed to killing Sana Yousaf after having his "offers of friendship" rejected. It’s an all too familiar tale for fellow influencers Mahnoor, Sabah and Zenith – who say online fame comes at a price in their country – due to normalised attitudes of misogyny. So how do they navigate having a following online, while also prioritising their safety? They share their experiences. (Photo: Mahnoor Rahim posing in traditional dress. Credit: Weddingshadding)
