New defibrillators in police cars

Available for over a year

A partnership between Warwickshire Police and the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Office will see 30 defibrillators placed in specialist vehicles, such as dog and firearms units. The initiative has been backed by the OurJay Foundation, founded by Naomi Rees-Issitt in memory of her son Jamie, who suffered a cardiac arrest in 2022. The foundation has campaigned for wider defibrillator access, and this milestone supports their push for 'Jamie’s Law', aiming to make defibrillators mandatory in more police vehicles nationwide. Naomi Rees-Issitt has been speaking to ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ CWR presenter Vic Minett.
