Back in 1950, Bernard Winterburn and his friend started Fillongley Football club. His soon to be mother-in-law at the time, took up the washing of the football kits. This passed to Mavis, who has been washing them since the 1960s. She also volunteers her time at the the local Knit and Natter group, teaching people new craft skills, creating characters and knitted creations for their local village displays. She's been telling ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ CWR's Phil Upton how she likes to help people.
