Dudley Council leader on asylum hotels

The Conservative leader, Kemi Badenoch, has written to all Tory-controlled councils, including those in the West Midlands, to tell them she will support any legal moves to evict asylum seekers from hotels in their area. Ms Badenock has described the temporary injunction, which blocked migrants from living at the Bell Hotel in Epping in Essex, as a victory for local people, also the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ understands that some Labour-led councils are also considering taking action. One part of the Black Country that has already seen discussion on the topic is Dudley. Sarah Julian spoke to Conservative leader of Dudley Council, Patrick Harley.
