Tiny congregation comes together to save church

A local church of note now has a fixed and restored roof thanks to its small congregation who fundraised an amazing amount of £620,000. St Nicholas Church of Myra in Worth Matravers is over 900 years old and has many stories to tell one of which is laid to rest there being Benjamin Jesty the Dorset man that created the first vaccine. James Mercer, keeper of the bells there and a former vicar, explained how they did it.
