Kenny & Peggy: Tiny Paws, Huge Hearts

Make a Difference: Merseyside

Available for over a year

Meet Peggy and Kenny, finalists for the Make a Difference Animal Award 2025. These two courageous Patterdale terriers have raised thousands of pounds for charities over the past three years through incredible fundraising challenges. Peggy, now 3.5 years old, survived a horrific accident at just four months old, breaking her spine and tail. Against the odds, she made a remarkable recovery with the love and care of her owners. Kenny, her best friend aged seven, battled rare cancer in his back leg and endured long, painful radiotherapy sessions before making a full recovery. Since overcoming their health challenges, Peggy and Kenny have walked the West Highland Way twice and the Great Glen Way, covering over 300 miles of tough terrain to raise over £6,000 for various animal charities.
