Ten-year-old Emberly Heppenstall from Bournemouth won the Young Hero Award in ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Solent's Make a Difference Awards for 2025. Emberly is a carer for her Mum, Jennie, and has been dancing, swimming and cycling to fund raise for Dorset Charity MyTime Young Carers. The Young Hero Award is awarded to someone under 16 who has made a positive impact in their community or achieved something exceptional.
