Albion defender Chris Mepham says he came to the club because he beleieves he can achieve a third promotion to the Premier League in his career. The Wales international was part of the Bournemouth squad that secured automatic promotion in 2022 and he was on loan at Sunderland last season as they won the Championship play-off final at Wembley in May. He completed a permanent move to The Hawthorns in the summer transfer window and has already formed a strong partnership in the centre of the defence with Nat Phillips.
