Shrewsbury gyratory is 'carnage'

Despite redevelopment work finishing near the train station congestion hasn't eased in Shrewsbury. "You just pull the plug and go home" says Simon Bendall a Hackney cab driver. Shropshire Council received just short of 19 million pounds to spend on the project but there's concern the congestion is driving people away from town. Shropshire Council say congestion is due to ease when new "sophisticated" software is installed on traffic lights in the area from 29th September. ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Shropshire's Kate Baldock reports.
