Gill Punt has raised close to £2million in memory of her father, running across the world. The PE teacher from Bromsgrove started endurance events in 1999, and is close to completing her 29th marathon, alongside 70 half marathons. She says she has no plans to stop until a cure for cancer is found. Cancer Research UK describe her fundraising as an 'incredible achievement'. Gill won the Fundraiser prize at the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Hereford & Worcester Make A Difference Awards 2025.
