In a special edition recorded at the Cheltenham Literature Festival, Emma Freud explores the farming side of Ambridge life. Emma is joined on stage by actor Timothy Bentinck. This week, his character David Archer found himself responsible for a second farm. Vanessa Nuttall explains how she brings the farmyards to life with sound effects, Keri Davies remembers some of Ambridge's biggest farming stories including a devastating Foot and Mouth outbreak, and hen keeper Arthur Parkinson shares his boyhood memories of The Archers, and introduces Emma to two of his flock - Clarissa and Samantha.
