New Coventry busgate

A new bus gate on Greyfriars Road in Coventry city centre is to go live with motorists facing the possibility of being fined in the future. The traffic measures will come into force on 8th October but drivers won't be fined immediately with a grace period of a few weeks being allowed for those who do go through the bus gate. John Seddon is an officer with the city council traffic department he sys the measures are being put in to encourage drivers to use the nearest exit off the ring road to get to a car park.
