'We didn't know we could get dementia this young'

Available for over a year

Liv has lost 13 members of her family to dementia, including her mum who died at just 54. When the word dementia is said we probably think of an older person, who’s retired, married, has children and maybe grandchildren. In 2024, Liv took a genetic test to find out to see if she carries the faulty MAPT gene. It was positive which means Liv will develop young onset frontotemporal dementia probably in her 40's.
