Yoko Ono's Acorns of Peace - 20 Years On

Available for over a year

Yoko Ono and John Lennon came to the city of Coventry in 1968 for the first public display of their campaign for peace, in which they planted acorns outside Coventry Cathedral. The seeds ended up being stolen, but Yoko returned in 2005 to replant some saplings, aiming to continue that message of peace. ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ CWR's Phil Upton tells us the story of this event 20 years on, which includes archive footage of Yoko herself, as well as an interview with Reverend John Whitcombe, Dean of Coventry Cathedral, who was in fact in New York at the time of John Lennon's death.
