London will be left with just two Metropolitan Police stations with front counters operating 24 hours a day, as ten more are set to close under cost-cutting measures - breaking a pledge made by the force and the mayor of London. Only Lewisham and Charing Cross - where ten officers are currently under investigation by the police watchdog - will remain open 24 hours. Staff and victim groups have raised concerns. But, with the Met saying many crimes aren't reporter via front counters anymore, does London still need them? ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio London's Ross Ryan and Sonja Jessup have more.
