Students use purple poppies to honour war animals

Available for over a year

Students from Skegness Academy have created a striking purple poppy horse sculpture to honour the millions of animals that served and died in wartime. The sculpture, a symbol of remembrance, is currently on display at Hildred’s Shopping Centre in Skegness. Teachers Kerry Langdale and Vikki Thompson, tell us how the idea came about.
