Hereford’s ‘giant-killing’ manager dies aged 85

Available for over a year

Colin Addison masterminded the Bulls’ legendary win over Newcastle in 1972, in one of the biggest FA Cup upsets of all time. He also took the club into the Football League for the first time in Hereford’s history. Addison's playing career saw him don the shirts of Nottingham Forest and Arsenal among others, before a move to Edgar Street in 1971 as player-manager. Hereford FC Chairman, Chris Ammonds, pays tribute. Image credit: Hereford FC
