Rob Franks, from Poole, has written a children’s book inspired by his son’s emotions and experiences during a difficult period in their lives. 'The Accident' tells the story of an eight-year-old boy who witnesses his father getting seriously injured during a cricket match and explores the feelings that follow. Rob has been chatting to the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Gaby Roslin about his children's book. Rob won the Community Award in ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Solent's Make a Difference Awards in 2024.
