Herefordshire's new haven for red squirrels

Available for over a year

Cyril the squirrel, plus David and Richard, are the newest four-legged arrivals at Small Breeds Farm Park near Kington, in a bid to boost the species' population. There are thought to be fewer than forty thousand left in England, with visitors already happy to see them. Lewis Jones tells Malcolm Boyden how much red squirrels have declined in the country, as well as how proud he is to be part of a very special conservation mission.
