Sexual abuse against women in North Korea is so commonplace and pervasive that few people report it, according to new research from Human Rights Watch. New electronic voting machines are causing controversy in the Democratic republic of Congo where they will be used in long delayed elections now scheduled for December. Many including most opposition parties are worried they could be used to cheat. West African waters are one of the richest fishing grounds in the world, feeding and providing jobs for millions of people across the region. But catches are plummeting. The United Nations says overfishing is already a problem.
