Yemen war: Fighting resumes at key port

Newsday

Available for over a year

Fighting has again erupted in the rebel-held Yemeni port of Hodeidah. The Saudi-led coalition that supports the government has launched fresh airstrikes; Israel has strongly criticised an announcement by the letting company, Airbnb, that it will stop renting out homes in Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank; and shares in the Japanese car maker, Nissan, have fallen sharply on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. They were six percent lower in early trading as investors reacted to the arrest of the company's chairman, Carlos Ghosn, on suspicion of financial misconduct.
