US Vice President to meet Israeli PM

The US Vice President JD Vance is today expected to meet the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in an effort to shore up a fragile cease-fire deal in Gaza. He has expressed his optimism that the deal would hold. Hamas has returned to Israel the bodies of two more dead hostages. 13 are still held in Gaza we'll speak to a father still waiting for the body of his son. President Trump has abandoned his summit with Russia and says he doesn't want to 'waste' his time. It comes as Moscow rejected an immediate ceasefire in Ukraine, casting a cloud over attempts at negotiations. And a senior member of the US house committee, currently reviewing documents known as the "Epstein files", has said he's sure Prince Andrew will receive an invitation to give evidence.
