Europe shows unity in supporting Ukraine

Later today European Union leaders will be meeting here in London to shore-up Ukraine finances and ramp up pressure on Russia its end the war. On Thursday in Brussels the same leaders moved forward cautiously on plans to use frozen Russian assets to fund Kyiv's war effort, but failed to reach a final decision. Today the US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, will visit the new US-run 'Civil-Military Coordination Centre' in southern Israel. The centre has been described by US officials as supporting “stabilisation efforts” around the flow of humanitarian, logistical and security assistance into Gaza. We look at how the centre is likely to work. And President Trump has said he's cutting off trade negotiations with Canada. On Truth Social the President claimed that 'Canada has fraudulently used an advertisement' featuring former president, Ronald Reagan speaking negatively about tariffs.
