The United States says Syria is joining the global coalition to defeat Islamic State jihadists, and is resuming diplomatic relations with Washington. The announcement came hours after Donald Trump met the Syrian president, Ahmed al-Sharaa, at the White House. Less than a year ago, Mr Sharaa led Islamist forces that ousted the Assad regime. We get the view of the Syrian disapora. Donald Trump has threatened legal action against the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½, following criticism over how a speech the US President made was edited and used in a ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ documentary. The president's legal team has given the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ until Friday to make a full and fair retraction of the documentary or face being sued. And we speak to a Palestinian student who is part of a group of students to have just graduated from Al Aqsa University in Khan Younis.
