Zelensky fails to secure US missiles

Weekend

Available for 14 days

Ukraine's president Volodomyr Zelensky fails to secure the purchase of Tomahawk missiles from the United States that he was hoping for. Also in today's programme: UN agencies appeal to Israel to allow aid directly into northern Gaza, where key border crossings are still closed, despite the ceasefire. Hamas has been clashing with several rival gangs for control. There is no clarity on how or if the next phase of the ceasefire agreement will be implemented. Former Egyptian former minister Nabil Fahmy gives us his assessment. And, a version of the triple harp, known as the Welsh triple harp, has become hugely popular amongst musicians and audiences in Wales. Presenter Julian Worricker is joined by journalist, author, and Bloomberg Weekend Editor-at-Large Mishal Husain, along with Dr. Claire Yorke, a senior lecturer in international relations and strategy at Deakin University in Canberra, Australia.
