Protests have erupted in cities and towns across the United States in response to Donald Trump’s presidency. In the lead-up to the demonstrations, Trump allies accused the protesters of ties to the far-left Antifa movement, branding the events as a "hate America rally." Also in today’s programme: Hopes for a renewed ceasefire between Pakistan and Afghanistan following high-level talks in Doha. Tensions between media and President Trump's administration were on display this week.
