The recent COP27 summit in Egypt agreed an historic 'loss and damage' global fund for climate impact in developing countries. The deal is being hailed as a potential turning point that acknowledges the vast inequalities of climate crisis - but can Sri Lanka and other countries put any kind of climate adaptation policy front and centre amid the worlds growing economic crisis?
