The Arts Hour

Available for over a year

Nikki Bedi speaks to Italian screen writer and show runner Leonardo Fasoli about his new true crime TV series The Monster of Florence, which deals with a serial killer in Tuscany, who – over decades - murdered courting couples. The case was never solved. We hear from Bruce Springsteen and the actor - Jeremy Allen White - who plays him in the biopic Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere. Oscar winning British actor and artist Tilda Swinton discusses an exhibition in Amsterdam that celebrates her creative collaborations. And the Oscar-winning American filmmaker Kathryn Bigelow on her hugely tense political thriller A House of Dynamite. Also on the show, choreographer Shobana Jeyasingh on discovering dance through Indian cinema. Jazz pianist Julian Joseph explains the musical and cognitive flexibility that jazz musicians need. And the Argentinian bandoneon player Carlos Quilici talks about tango. Joining Nikki in the studio to ponder these sumptuous offerings is the critic and dancer Katie Puckrik.
