Savara Delvin Mudigi is one of the four members of Sauti Sol, Kenya’s most successful band. Sauti Sol announced a hiatus in 2023, and since then the four have been working on solo projects. In this episode, Savara tells DJ Edu about the pros and cons of going it alone. It has been a lonely and anxious experience at times, he says, but the creative freedom has led to hits for Savara including Show You Off and Sianda. Sianda is a celebration of larger women and Savara says he has received numerous messages from plus size women expressing their gratitude for this affirmation.
