Watching a tree grow is a great way to remember

A living memorial

Plant a memory

When a loved one dies they're not just forgotten, a part of who they were lives on in your memories. So ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Stoke is giving you the opportunity to plant a living memorial this weekend.

On Sunday 25 November we are holding a tree planting event. You don't need to bring anything: the trees will be provided and a plaque will be engraved with the names of those remembered on that day.

A time for remembering

A time for remembering

Planting a tree is a great way to remember someone you love, it provides a living link with their memory. As it grows and matures it becomes a focal point for you to go back to and think about their life.

This event has been funded by ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Breathing Places and is being organised in conjunction with the Newcastle Countryside Project.

If you're interested in taking part you can book your place by calling the ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio Stoke reception on 01782 208080. Or just come along to Bradwell Crematorium in Newcastle between 11am and 1pm.
